The Veritas RS III will debut at Salon Privé in July

Vermot AG are responsible for the Veritas RS III, a modern day recreation of a 1940s German racer. And it does look pretty stunning. It weighs in at less than 2400lbs but features a either V10 BMW (as in the M5) or a V8 (as in the M3), offering either 600bhp or 480bhp.
The second edition of ‘Concept Car of the Week' features what was hailed as "the world's mightiest supercar": the Ford GT90. The GT90 was unveiled at the 1995 Detroit auto show and acted as the poster boy of the 'New Edge' design philosophy, with its large, flat planes, angles and triangular shapes it was a major change in design direction. This car, completed in just six months, was something of a successor to the GT40, using some of its design cues such as doors that cut into the roofline, but underneath many components were borrowed from the other cars such as the Jaguar XJ220.

Ford Shelby GT500KR: the lowdown
Ford’s latest Shelby Mustang special packs a 540bhp punch, and will be flexing its muscles at next week's New York Motor Show. It’s called the Ford Shelby GT500KR, in homage to the 1968 original, and just 1000 Coupes go on sale in spring 2008. KR means King of the Road, a name GM had intended to use until Shelby got wind of it and grabbed the crown first.
